Non-profit Civil Association
Seminario de Sociopsychoanálisis AC is a non-profit civil association self-financed with the annual membership fee.
Our work is voluntary and our positions are honorary
Mexico is a society with high economic contrasts. One mission is to make psychoanalysis accessible to the general public traditionally restricted to the privileged class that can afford it. Offering a service according to the socio-economic condition has allowed us to know different social classes and enrich ourselves as professionals.
We invite you to know the tab of the Community Psychological Care Clinic that we offer free of charge and support the work of the Seminar or the following causes:
If you want to donate $ 250mxn or any amount you can contact Dalia Gómez at the phone number 55 32750978 to obtain the details of the account to be deposited or write to us with your details.

CULTURAL ACTIVITIESAt Semsoac we believe that it is very necessary to understand other societies and other cultures, from the original to the modern, to understand and simply see other possibilities of structures and experiences that were conscious for them but that for us today are unconscious or alien to our consciousness. The more we know about other forms of experience outside our cultural frame of reference, the more capable we will be of opening our consciousness and recognizing the universal and particular, nothing human will be alien to us, we will understand others in ourselves, we will experience what in our group social or family turns out not to be appropriate. We encourage travel and participation in academic and cultural exchanges in forums or meetings with colleagues from other countries or regions, showing our work and social situation as the context in which we practice psychoanalysis in each place. Knowing different cultures, what is different, enriches us as people and makes us more tolerant of differences, understanding that there is not only one true psychoanalytic or therapeutic path. The above allows us to achieve an integration of the different models of psychoanalysis from the orthodox to that of relational concepts in the context of reality in which they arose.
