HISTORY AND OBJECTIVES

Where we come from
Salvador Millán M. psychiatrist and Sonia Gojman de Millán, psychologist and doctorate in sociology, were friends of Erich Fromm at the end of his stay in Mexico, they trained as psychoanalysts and participated in the last two courses, 1970 and 1972, in which Fromm directed courses. and supervised clinical cases, both in Mexico City and at his home in Cuernavaca, where they traveled on weekends to attend his interesting seminars. A little earlier Sonia had seen him in some lectures he gave at the IMSS Medical Center.

Foundation
In 1996 we founded the non-profit Civil Association before a notary public and since then to date we have developed several interesting research projects and attended to different vulnerable or disadvantaged groups, mainly as well as some very socially favored, as a team to sensitize judges about sentences with gender equity in the SCJN or to highly prepared and successful women at work, providing the opportunity to know and understand the social contrasts in Mexico.

The association aims to:
- Promote, within the spirit of greater freedom, the study and teaching of Socio-psychoanalysis, conducting the training of specialists and trying to maintain among its members and students the levels of human maturity and responsibility that are necessary for the exercise of Socio-psychoanalysis.
